A bit about Paul...
Paul was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire and has played the piano since the age of 8. He is classically trained and reads music. Since graduating with a degree in Popular Music and Recording Paul has worked as a musician on a whole host of projects, performing over 1000 shows and has released 3 solo albums and written literally hundreds of songs.
At present you can see Paul perform live as a solo artist and as part of an acoustic 3-piece band with local musicians Dan and Ol Sacker. In addition he is also currently working with vocalist Katie Chadwick on a duo called The BitterSweetShop.
Paul's first love of songwriting has produced many collaborations and successes. His song 'More Than The Need' was recorded by Talentstar UK in 2005 and went on to be a top 20 hit in the UK Independent Charts that year. As a songwriter he was signed to US publisher Mamalahoa Music and as an artist he has released 3 studio albums which have sold worldwide. These albums have included songs produced by Ian Catt (St.Etienne) and local artist Jon Strong. In 2009 Paul also released an album of original songs performed by top UK singers Kim Chandler and Sally Rivers under the Paradise Street brand.
Summing up Paul's sound in just a few words is difficult. His piano style is influenced by Elton John, Billy Joel and Leon Russell. His voice has been compared to artists such as Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker and Elvis Costello. His songs are always written 'from the heart' and touch on issues people can relate to. They are best described as meaningful.

Quotes
"An amazingly soulful man, with a voice that is versatile as well as heartbreaking or sexy, depending if he is singing of heartbreak or passion and love, Paul has the ability to hit all the cords of your soul." All Access Magazine.com
"At first listen you may wonder if you are listening to Joe Jackson, and that's far from a bad thing, especially if you love those voices that aren't 100 % perfect. With unique voices the listener is more likely to listen to the lyrics and with Paul Jeffery, you want to hear every word and after that you want to hear it again and again." Mossip (Online music blog)
"...you never know if any of these songs will become part of the soundtrack of your life, in which we all have, you just may not know yet." All Access Magazine.com
